Antique 19th Century English Round Red Leather Top Table 30.5"Diam x 27.5"H
This is a fantastic Antique English round game table or side table. Its height is a tad on the low side, so more useful as a side table. A flippable top that rests within the four legged cross stretcher base. One side is red felt, the other read leather both in excellent shape. There is so much patina to this table, lots of history and can only imaging the discussions that were amongst those taken place across this table.
The outer band of wood surrounding the top has a gap in one area - likely from shrinkage of the top due to its age. There also appears to be some slight crackling of the veneer surface to the felt side of the table in one area - see photos.
This is a beautiful piece of fine English furniture, with centuries of age. A must see in person to appreciate.
