This is made in Pennsylvania style with the top that sits on the base and is attached and held in place with 4 screws or pegs. The frame of the table appears to be made of maple, it is scribed and put together with wood nails. It has a red stained finish. As best we can guess the base looks to be later than the top. The top supports that attach to the frame are dovetailed construction. The drawer appears to have been added later.
Dimensions: 79"L x 32.75"D x 30.5"H
Height under table from ground to apron currently 23.25”
Condition: Table surface has some knicks and gauges - but nothing that stands out unless at direct sunlight or at an angle. Appropriate wear, scratches, knicks and stains but overall appearance and color, warmth and dark finish is beautiful!
